Sharad Yadav Passes Away: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has condoled the demise of veteran socialist leader Sharad Yadav. Amit Shah tweeted and wrote, ‘Sharad Yadav ji’s absence among all of us is a loss for the country. Received the sad news of Sharad ji’s demise. He made his valuable contribution in Bihar and Indian politics for decades.
Amit Shah wrote, “In 5 decades, he raised the issues of the public. Also, when the Emergency was imposed in the country, he was also the main leader of that fight. His death is a big loss for this country and for the socialist movement. I express my condolences to his family and supporters in this hour of grief. May God give place to the departed soul at his holy feet. Om Shanti Shanti.”

Daughter had given information about her death by tweeting
Veteran socialist leader Sharad Yadav died on January 12 at the age of 75. His daughter Subhashini Yadav has informed about his death by tweeting. He wrote, ‘Papa is no more.’
Sharad Yadav has been MP from Madhepura seat of Bihar four times. He has also been a minister at the Center along with the President of Janata Dal United (JDU). After the death of Sharad Yadav, his body was brought to his residence in Chhatarpur late at night. Between 1999 and 2004, held various portfolios in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. He has been a seven-time Lok Sabha and three-time Rajya Sabha MP.
